In order to realize the automatic optimization design and economic analysis of various district energy station schemes, presents an optimal analysis method based on cluster analysis for the selection of the energy stations’ number and site and the division of cooling and heating supply area. Adopts a minimum spanning tree method to generate an optimal pipeline network. Applies the method to a typical district cooling project and analyses the economy of all-concentrated, half-concentrated and all-distributed energy stations. Verifies the method applicability. This method is different from current site selection and pipeline network optimization design of conventional energy station which relies on expert experience, and is a quantificational computation method.
